The VARK theory appears to be more concerned with personal preferences than with learning styles being inextricably related to a person’s DNA. People don’t always fit neatly into one of these categories, but they frequently prefer one of these learning styles over the others. K – Kinaestethic learners (learn best by doing).R – Reading/Writing learners (learn best by reading books and doing research).A – Auditory learners (learn best through sound).V – Visual learners (learn best with diagrams, pictures, and written notes).Mills, the acronym VARK was used to describe the 4 major learning styles people usually have: Let’s have a look at the most prevalent learning styles before we get into the learning tactics. In this article, I’ll provide six tactics for helping auditory learners learn quickly and retain a good comprehension of the materials they’re presented with. Today’s auditory learners have a plethora of excellent learning opportunities. However, while explaining themselves and participating in group discussions and dialogues, they also learn effectively. If you enjoy the process, however, it could provide you with both a leisure activity and some information you’ll never forget. If you like music, this tip is for you! Try taking an iconic song -like Fireflies by Owl City -and change the lyrics into notes. By changing your tone, volume, accent, and speech pattern, you’ll actually remember things better. Whether you’re reading notes, summarizing a lecture, or simply trying to “figure out” a problem, try dramatizing your speech as you talk. Talking to yourself is an excellent strategy. Study more effectively by humming a simple tune! Hmmhmm!!! 4. I’m not sure why either, so here’s a link if you’re interested. Either way, humming actually improves health. You may already hum -if so, good for you. Here are some examples to get you started. Building a personal library of mnemonic “strings” can shoot you from a C- to A+ in no time! These “strings,” (while not practical for everything) work as amazing “keystones” that binds everything together. and all you need? Some earbuds and an audio recorder. Think about it: when done correctly, you can turn any activity into study time. ![]() Instead of writing down the lecture word-for-word, why not record it instead? The benefits are clear: you can listen to them anytime, anywhere: while running, showering, or folding origami. There are hundreds of apps that can record audio.
